What does “per square metre” mean?
Shutters are priced by area, so a wide sliding-door opening costs more than a small bathroom window. To estimate the area, multiply the width by the height in metres. At your measure we confirm the exact area and specification for every opening.

Material: PVC and aluminium
PVC is a moisture-resistant polymer made to look like painted timber, and it is the usual choice for bathrooms, kitchens and other humid rooms. Aluminium suits outdoor and security applications, with cyclonic-rated options listed on our price guide. Polymate is our self-install range. Panel style
Hinged panels suit standard windows. Sliding panels suit sliding doors and wide openings. Fixed panels are the baseline, and tier-on-tier is also available. Bi-fold is available in aluminium only. Number and size of windows
More windows mean more panels, and larger windows mean more area. The total area is what counts, whether it comes from many small windows or a few large openings. Wide openings are built from several panels, so we plan the layout at the measure.
Frame type and window shape
PVC shutters are fitted with a frame inside the window reveal. We offer Z-Frame and L-Frame options, and the frame helps square up a window that isn’t perfectly true. Arched windows, raked ceilings and other unusual shapes need panels made to suit, so we confirm them at the measure.

We make our shutters in our own Currumbin Waters factory, which is why ours are usually installed within about 3–4 weeks, while imported shutters from other suppliers typically take 8–12 weeks because they’re shipped from overseas.
