Sunscreen roller blinds use a precision open-weave fabric that lets soft, diffuse daylight through while filtering harsh UV and glare. You keep your view — your eyes don't get hammered by the afternoon sun.
By day, you get privacy and a perfectly bright room. At night with lights on, visibility increases — so pair them with a blockout layer or a double-roller setup when full privacy matters.
How they work
High-performance polyester or PVC-coated fibreglass weaves with 3–10% openness give you a strong UV barrier without sacrificing the outlook. Lower openness = more privacy and shade. Higher openness = more daylight and view.

Whether commercial or domestic, we pride ourselves on a cost-effective quality product. Full warranty terms are defined by product group — comply with these for the warranty claim to be honoured.
The Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Gold Coast Blinds and Shutters will choose the appropriate remedy:
- Replacement of the blinds/shutters
- Repair of the blinds/shutters
- Refunding the cost of the blinds/shutters
- Payment of the reasonable costs of having the blinds/shutters repaired
Commencement of Warranty
The warranty period commences from the date of installation. Replacement of a blind or component under this warranty does not change the warranty commencement date — the original date continues to apply.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Warranty claims can be made at point of sale, or by emailing a claim to the manufacturer within one (1) month of a defect appearing. Claims must include: date of purchase, proof of purchase, date of installation, and contact details.

SeaScreen fabric is engineered for low-maintenance coastal living. A regular dust-down and the occasional spot-clean is all most blinds ever need.
Regular care
- Dust monthly with a soft brush, microfibre cloth, or vacuum upholstery attachment
- Wipe the cassette and bottom rail with a damp microfibre cloth
- Operate motorised blinds occasionally even when not in use, to keep the motor lubricated
Spot cleaning
- Use lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent
- Sponge gently — do not rub, scrub, or use solvents
- Rinse with clean water and allow to fully dry in the rolled-down position before retracting
What to avoid
- Harsh chemicals, bleach, ammonia or solvent-based cleaners
- Steam cleaning or pressure washing
- Retracting the blind while it is still wet
