Full warranty terms and conditions are defined by product group, which you must comply with for warranty claim to be honoured by Gold Coast Blinds and Shutters All our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits provided to you by the warranty are in addition to the guarantees and other rights and remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

How to Make a Warranty Claim
Warranty claims can be made at the point of sale or emailing a warranty claim to the manufacturer (contact details listed below) within one (1) month of the appearance of a defect. Warranty claims must include the following details: date of purchase, proof of purchase, date of installation, and contact details.

Operating your Panel Blinds
Panel Glide Blinds are a modern alternative to curtains, perfect for covering sliding or bi-fold doors. To ensure longevity:
Always fully open the panels before opening a window or door. If left partially across an opening, wind can catch the fabric and cause damage.
Avoid exposing your blinds to strong winds or rain, as moisture can mark the fabric and be difficult to remove.
Use the wand provided to open and close your blinds.
Do not handle the fabric directly to move the panels, as this may cause stretching or damage.
Cleaning & Care
The best cleaning method will depend on the fabric type you have chosen.
General Cleaning: Lightly dust with a soft brush or gently sponge with warm, soapy water. Leave blinds closed until fully dry.
Spot Cleaning: Use a soft, damp (not wet) cloth to treat small marks. Avoid rubbing too hard to prevent creasing or water marks.
Fabric Options:
Standard fabrics such as blockout or light filter can usually be spot-cleaned carefully.
Metallised fabrics are anti-static and naturally resist dust. If needed, dust lightly with a soft cloth or brush. Stubborn stains must be cleaned ultrasonically by a specialist (similar to dry-cleaning delicate fabrics).
Important: If your blinds have a metallised backing, do not use window cleaner or sprays near the fabric, as this may damage the coating.
